Helix Arts

Helix Arts specialises in the development of projects and initiatives, including artist residencies and commissions, which explore the role and potential of the arts in a social context. Our overall aim is to provide opportunities for the development of individual creative potential and we are committed to the kind of collaborative approaches that ensure participants have a central role in shaping projects.

We have been developing Climate Change Explorer, in collaboration with our partners, for over 4 years to create an environmental project exploring the artistic potential of scientific data to raise awareness and facilitate learning and actions on climate change.

The project has been a wonderful experience that has encapsulated young people’s feelings using new found creative skills that will also be valuable in other aspects of their learning.
