Settlebeck School

Settlebeck is first and foremost a small, rural community school, and the staff who work at Settlebeck are highly skilled, dedicated, flexible and have a genuine love of working with young people. At Settlebeck we mainly teach mixed-ability groups with little setting. Most teaching groups will contain the A* as well as the entry-level student; differentiation and personalisation of teaching and learning is a familiar challenge to all subject teachers. PSE (Personal Social Education) is also a dimension of every teacher’s classroom practice.
