Walney High School

Our school is situated on Walney Island, part of Barrow-in-Furness. It has close links with the surrounding community on the island and stages several community events throughout the year. The school currently educates around 700 pupils. The school was also given a glowing report at the last OFSTED inspection. We have a wide range of facilities available for use by the pupils and are always looking for opportunities to expand these.

The school provides a variety of performaces throughout the year, such as the fashion show pictured. They provide the pupils with valuable experiences that they will treasure for the rest of their lives. Walney also has close links with the surrounding community and hosts several community-related events each year, such as the OAP Christmas Tea Party.
